The old model of therapy positions the therapist as a high-level, all-knowing expert who dispenses wisdom from on high. It’s isolating, intimidating, and frankly, it’s bulls*hit. That’s not how we operate.
At Enlitens, we know that you are the undisputed expert on your own life. Our role isn’t to be the hero of your story; our role is to be your dedicated, highly-skilled co-op partner. We’re the ones who have studied the strategy guides, who know the secret maps, and who have the right gear to help you navigate the levels you’re stuck on.
To be a guide at Enlitens, you have to be more than just a licensed professional. You have to be a rebellious academic. You have to be a neurodivergent-affirming specialist with a deep, evidence-based understanding of the human brain. And you have to be fiercely committed to social justice and the belief that the system is broken, not the people it fails.
Below are the stats and skill trees of our guides. They’re not just our team; they are your future allies.

As the founder of Enlitens, Liz is the architect of our entire clinical philosophy. With a unique and powerful background spanning psychology, counseling, and criminal justice with an emphasis on rehabilitation, she built this practice as a direct rebellion against the punitive, pathologizing systems that have failed so many.
Her approach is a direct reflection of her own AuDHD brain: it is fast, intuitive, and deeply pattern-oriented, allowing her to see the connections that others miss.
She combines this lived experience with a relentless pursuit of knowledge, including her current work toward a doctorate in Developmental Psychology. She is not just a therapist; she is a systems-builder, a passionate advocate, and the guide who is in the trenches with you.

It has everything to do with our approach. The “spaghetti policy” scene is a perfect example of radical self-advocacy. We use humor and pop culture as tools because they are a shared language that can make the intimidating work of therapy feel more accessible and human. It signals that we’re real people who believe profound truths can be found in unexpected places. Learn more about how we use metaphors in therapy.
Not at all. It means we reject the old, broken model where a therapist passively nods while you struggle. In our co-op mission, you are the expert on your lived experience—you bring the knowledge of the terrain. Your guide is the specialist with the map and the gear—they bring the clinical expertise and the specific strategies. It’s an active, collaborative partnership. Learn more about our active, “workshop” approach.
It’s a nod, but it’s not a joke. In gaming culture, “LVL 99” signifies the pinnacle of skill and mastery. We use it as a rebellious and accessible way to signify deep expertise in the field of neurodivergent care, in a language that feels more empowering and less intimidating than a long list of acronyms. Learn why a specialist, not a generalist, is so critical.
That’s the exact reason we are building a team. Our collaborative model means that while you will have one primary guide, that guide has access to the specialized knowledge of the entire team. You get the benefit of a deep, trusting relationship with one person, supported by the collective expertise of the entire team. See all our areas of focus here.
That’s a practical and important question. While Liz is responsible for the vision of the practice, her primary passion is direct client work. She intentionally structures her role to ensure that working with clients in both assessment and therapy remains a central part of her job. The best way to find out about her current availability is to book a free, 15-minute Fit Check.
Take one second. That’s all I’m asking.
Do not try to “calm down.” Do not try to “fix it.” Do not listen to the voice screaming that you need to do something right now.
Just be here, with me, for one single breath.
My name is Liz. I’ve spent years working overnight in the ER, sitting with people on what was often the worst night of their entire lives. I have sat in the eye of the hurricane, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the chaos you feel right now is not the truth.
It is a storm in your nervous system. And a storm is just a weather pattern. It is not you. It is not permanent. And you do not have to navigate it alone.
Right now, your brain’s alarm system is screaming. The logical part of your brain has been taken offline. That is a normal, brilliant, biological survival response. But you and I are going to bring it back online, together.
We are going to do one, simple, physical thing. This is not a bulls*hit mindfulness exercise. This is a direct, manual override for your nervous system.
Place your hand on your chest.
Can you feel that? The rise and fall. The rhythm. That is the anchor. That is the proof that you are here, in this moment, and you are alive.
Keep your hand there.
Now, we are going to make one choice. The storm is telling you there are a million overwhelming things you have to do. That is a lie. There are only three choices right now, and you only need to pick one.
