Let's make a new playlist.

You know that feeling when a band takes a song you thought you knew and flips it on its head? Like I Prevail’s cover of “Blank Space”? That’s what we do here. We’re not about “fixing” your brain; we’re about unmasking the real you and turning up the volume on your strengths.

Tired of the Same Old Sad Song?

Let’s be real. You’ve probably been in therapy before. You’ve sat on a couch, been handed a generic, laminated worksheet about “unhelpful thoughts,” and been told to “just breathe” while your brain is playing a thrash metal solo. You’ve had to educate your own therapist on your lived experience, only to be met with a blank stare and another condescending platitude.

It’s exhausting. It feels like being stuck on a radio station that only plays static and that one Nickelback song you hate. You’ve been handed a diagnosis that feels less like an explanation and more like a life sentence. You’ve been told your brain is a “disorder,” a “deficit,” a problem to be solved.

That is bulls*hit.

You’re not broken. You’re not a problem. You’re a human being who has been forced to listen to a soundtrack that was never yours.

It’s Time to Become the DJ of Your Own Mind.

What if therapy wasn’t a place where you get “fixed,” but a recording studio where you get to produce your own album? What if it was a space where you could take all the raw tracks of your life—the feedback loops of your anxiety, the dissonant chords of your trauma, the moments of quiet harmony—and mix them into something that is unapologetically you?

That’s the Enlitens way. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all playlists. We believe in your story, your soundtrack.

This isn’t about just talking. This is an active, creative, and collaborative process. We’re not here to be passive listeners; we’re here to be your co-producers. We’ll help you identify the distorted feedback from a broken system and replace it with clear, powerful vocals that are all your own.

Our Studio Sessions: A Track for Every Part of Your Story

Our work is designed to meet you where you are. We focus on four core “tracks,” each with its own dedicated approach, but all guided by the same rebellious, neuro-affirming philosophy.

  • ADHD & Autism Support: For the brilliant, non-linear minds. This is where we deconstruct the bulls*hit, translate your brain’s unique operating system, and build a life that celebrates your strengths instead of punishing your differences. LEARN MORE

  • Anxiety & Mood Care: For the overwhelmed nervous systems. This is where we teach you the science of your body’s alarm system, so you can stop silencing the signal and start addressing the source of the fire. LEARN MORE

  • Executive Function Coaching: For the chronically overwhelmed CEOs. This is our practical, hands-on workshop for building the systems and strategies you need to manage your life, your work, and your home with less chaos. LEARN MORE

  • Trauma-Informed ND Care: For the survivors of a world that wasn’t built for them. This is our “body-first,” neuro-informed approach to trauma that prioritizes your safety above all else, helping you heal the wound, not just talk about the story. LEARN MORE

Meet Your Producer: Liz Wooten

Hey, I’m Liz. I’m the founder of Enlitens, and I’m not your typical therapist. I’m a rebellious academic, a science nerd, and a firm believer that the system is broken, not you.

I started Enlitens because I was tired of seeing brilliant, creative, and “neuro-spicy” people get crushed by a mental healthcare system that was never built for them. I’ve seen the damage that pathologizing labels and one-size-fits-all “treatments” can do. And I knew there had to be a better way. My approach is grounded in science but speaks in plain English. I’m here to translate the complex neuroscience into practical tools you can actually use. I get it because I live it. This is more than a job for me; it’s a mission.

What’s the actual difference between "therapy" and "coaching"? It sounds the same.

Think of it like this: therapy is often about healing the past (the “why”), while coaching is about building the future (the “how”). At Enlitens, we blend the two. We believe you can’t effectively build new skills without understanding the old wounds. Our process is about both insight and real-world, forward motion. Read our deep dive: The “Why” and the “How.”

Fuck no. Our goal is to work ourselves out of a job. Therapy isn’t a permanent residence; it’s a temporary workshop. Some people work with us for a specific “season” to tackle a challenge. The timeline is your timeline, and the goal is always to get you to a place where you are the confident DJ of your own mind. Read our manifesto: Our Goal is to Work Ourselves Out of a Job.

If you’ve ever felt like your brain got a different instruction manual than everyone else, you belong here. This isn’t an exclusive club with a bouncer checking diagnoses. We focus on your lived experience, not a label. If you feel like the world wasn’t built for your brain, we’re here to help you build one that is. Read more: If You’ve Ever Felt Your Brain Got a Different Instruction Manual, You Belong Here.

Definitely not. Our sessions are active workshops, not passive conversations. We might spend a session whiteboarding a new schedule, using a game to practice emotional regulation, or building a literal toolkit of strategies. If you’re not a talker, that’s fine. We’ll find other ways to do the work. Read more: Not a Big Talker? Great. Let’s Get to Work.

Progress isn’t a score on a worksheet. It’s real life getting tangibly better. It’s the first time you set a boundary and don’t apologize. It’s the moment you realize your inner critic’s voice is getting quieter and your own is getting louder. It’s less about “feeling happy” and more about feeling capable and authentic. Read more: Progress Isn’t a Checklist. It’s the First Time You Set a Boundary…

While our primary focus is on individual therapy, the skills you build here will ripple out into your relationships. We help you understand your own “User Manual” so you can better explain it to the people you love. Currently, we do not offer dedicated couples or family therapy, but we are happy to provide a referral to a trusted, neurodivergent-affirming colleague. Walk Out With Your Anthem.

The tangible outcome of our work? You get clarity. You get validation. You get a “User Manual” for your brain that is so uniquely you, it feels like coming home. You get to stop fighting your own operating system and start working with it. You’ll walk out of this experience not with a label, but with a soundtrack. An anthem that is yours and yours alone.

You are not a problem to be fixed. You are a song to be heard.

Ready to drop the needle?

First, do nothing.

Take one second. That’s all I’m asking.

Do not try to “calm down.” Do not try to “fix it.” Do not listen to the voice screaming that you need to do something right now.

Just be here, with me, for one single breath.

My name is Liz. I’ve spent years working overnight in the ER, sitting with people on what was often the worst night of their entire lives. I have sat in the eye of the hurricane, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the chaos you feel right now is not the truth.

It is a storm in your nervous system. And a storm is just a weather pattern. It is not you. It is not permanent. And you do not have to navigate it alone.

Right now, your brain’s alarm system is screaming. The logical part of your brain has been taken offline. That is a normal, brilliant, biological survival response. But you and I are going to bring it back online, together.

We are going to do one, simple, physical thing. This is not a bulls*hit mindfulness exercise. This is a direct, manual override for your nervous system.

Place your hand on your chest.

Can you feel that? The rise and fall. The rhythm. That is the anchor. That is the proof that you are here, in this moment, and you are alive.

Keep your hand there.

Now, we are going to make one choice. The storm is telling you there are a million overwhelming things you have to do. That is a lie. There are only three choices right now, and you only need to pick one.
